I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

This is not town related never the less it is interesting because it is from a perspective not often heard. Many who read her posts thought her dead several times. Note that her site is on E-Blogger as is this one. Here is an excerpt and the link below that.

Bloggers Without Borders...
Syria is a beautiful country- at least I think it is. I say “I think” because while I perceive it to be beautiful, I sometimes wonder if I mistake safety, security and normalcy for ‘beauty’. In so many ways, Damascus is like Baghdad before the war- bustling streets, occasional traffic jams, markets seemingly always full of shoppers… And in so many ways it’s different. The buildings are higher, the streets are generally narrower and there’s a mountain, Qasiyoun, that looms in the distance.

There are an estimated 1.5 MILLION Iraqi refugees in Syria alone. Since the fall of Hussein in 2003 only 833 Iraqis have been permitted asylum in the US, and we will fall far short of our promised 7,000 entries for this year.

What is Exaflood

This is very interesting in respect to the numbers involved and the dramatic rate of growth. It only names the major players not the small providers such as we use in Oak Creek. There is an ongoing attempt by corporations to gain control over access to the Internet. This is called "Net Neutrality" which would create a two-tiered system which unless one payed their ability to access the Internet would be severely restricted. The Internet was created to give all people any where in the world just that-equal access.
