Could a fist bump have prevented this? Don't be putt'in your hands where they don't belong. Would the fight still happened if it was a pat instead of a slap. At least there weren't any guns.
The brawl ignited when a man became upset that his wife got slapped on the buttocks while singing a song.
Was the song being sung Closing Time? Sounds like someone should've grabbed the microphone and shouted out the ol' barroom refrain, "You don't have to go home but you do have to get the hell outta here." Bands use it all time and it works. Incidentally, booz is served in this area until 2:30 a.m. and they do have intense competitions on karaoke nights here. The food sucks at Azteca but the tequila/ margaritas, etc must still be working well.
