I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Our Failed War Fronts Suck Worse Than A Hind Teat

MOSUL, Iraq — American soldiers opened fire and killed a 12-year old boy
How many of these have we heard for years. Investigation every time-stick it up your ass. They say and we say other. Did it happen-probably

With the five killed today by a soldier on our side at a good 'ol camp Liberty and that makes 12 for the month and 19 last month. jesus h fucking christ I am so tired of it and it's not going to change anytime soon if ever.

Obama shit canned the top dog general in Afghanistan. That's just fine but big fucking deal it don't change a goddamn thing.

A consortium of evil controls our country and our government and that becomes clearer every day. Of course Congress plays a role but when it comes to the war machine enter the most powerful people in the world. War and the escalation of that is not going away and no one is going to change it.

We are so screwed!

  1. The only way I can see to end this insanity is to get the fuck out of both Iraq and Afghanistan. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. There's too many wealthy people and corporations making themselves more wealthy off the blood of Iraqis, Afghans, and our troops.

  2. The essence of a shell game is to, by sleight of hand, remove the pea from the game entirely while the sucker concentrate on the shells. The 3 shells in our present game are 1 developing and nurturing democratic ideals in the Middle East 2 protecting interests in oil and natural gas vital to our nat'l goals 3 fighting Islamo-fascists and Al Queda, The pea, as evidenced by the former administration is really the arms sales around the globe generated by the shell game. Let's be honest here: the American public will suffer until the dirty truth about the war profiteering is finally exposed. We are a death machine culture pure and simple. Our economy would collapse without the deaths of innocents abroad. I fear that in our children's lifetime this death addiction will lead to its envitable and forseeable conclusion: the end of America due to the merciless retaliation of its rivals bent on eliminating our war DNA once and for always.

  3. Dear One Fly --Outta the Cornfield Blogger

I couldn't agree more with this post-

This month many Israelis are celebrating the 61st anniversary of the creation of Israel.

Yet, the 15th of May marks the 61st anniversary of what Palestinians observe as Nakba Day.

Nakba is the Arabic word for “catastrophe,” which refers to the Palestinian people’s displacement and dispossession that began during the creation of Israel and continues to this day.

To mark this important anniversary, I hope you’ll watch our recently produced two-minute video www.afsc.org/mideast dealing with the effects of Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the continued Palestinian dispossession. View it at: www.afsc.org/mideast

(After you’ve seen it, please take the time to tell your friends about it.)

We believe that addressing what is happening today in the occupied territories – as well as acknowledging and understanding what happened in 1948 – are key to building a lasting and just peace in Israel and Palestine.

We hope that our new video will illuminate some of the realities of occupation in the West Bank.

    We ask you to:
    • Watch the video on our website:
    o http://www.afsc.org/israel-palestine/ht/display/ContentDetails/i/76850
    • Embed on your website/blog:
    by right clicking on video.
    • Use the link to send a letter to your representatives. Urge them to stop using our tax dollars to create barriers to peace in the Middle East
    • Forward this message to your personal and professional networks

Thank you for your help. By working together, we can help bring about a just and lasting peaceful solution in the Middle East that will indeed be cause for celebration.
    Peace,
