I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

It Takes A Real Commitment

I'm sure you've done it too - clicked on the "next blog" icon on the top of the page. Or from the profile page of someone looked to see what or who else was there when you clicked on "location".

What I've found for the most part is not a whole hell of a lot at all!

The last example was bloggers from this location. Blogger said there were 460 but I could get to just 160. Out of those there were maybe 10 blogs that were current and associated with family events which is a great way to share with other as we know.

I've used the "next blog" thingie a number of times just to see because it can be interesting and for the most part the results are the same. The number of one time posters is surprising to me and hardly do you find a political blog which I find interesting as well.

These are my observations over several years and are only that.

What I'd like to say is how much I respect all the blogs linked to here at OTC and the people who post on a regular basis with a fervor I admire equally as much.

EVERYONE OF YOU ROCKS!!

We had some hellacious winds yesterday and at the end of the day found out we lost some real giants. I feel sad when a 100 footer topples. It's like losing a good friend. When it warms up I'll go and see how bad it is and maybe show them just to inform.

20* this morning. Have a good one and giv'em hell my friends!

  1. I'm sure people come here because they like what you have to say, except the people who come here because they don't like what you have to say.

Most of my blogger neighbors are foreign, mostly Japanese and European.

  5. The wisemen and women, when speaking of the human spirit, say hope is the last thing to leave before the spirit which makes us human beings dies. Hope builds a community. Hope creates the foundation for improving and advancing most challenges individuals and societies face. Well hope just got shit on by the Democrats: House and Senate together. Health care will remain a dream for 15-20 million Americans after The Obaminator signs this Christmas " lump of coal" into law during the Yuletide season. A lot is written at OTC about accountability and complicitness when it comes wars, religious bigotry, etc, etc. That's good. We Americans need it. But the bottom line is this health bill is a death warrant for 20,000 of our once hopeful fellow citizens. More dead than in the current wars. More dead than our atrocious murder rates, more dead than from alcohol related auto acidents. I could site more statistics but it doesn't matter. Maybe it never mattered to most Americans. But accountability and complicitness is, at least, a double edged sword. We are now, as Americans, in the extermination business as it pertains to the treatment of our fellow Americans. It's a good thing flu season is here. The excessive handwashing by our elected officials will appear normal, even wise. It is capitulation to state murder by willful neglect. It cements fascism into our legal foundations. It accepts rascism as part of our nat'l health policy. It will tell other wise people around the world what they can expect when dealing with our gov't: when push comes to shove we will kill you and yours for money. 17 years, hundreds of volunteer hours and thousands of dollars later we get the "bait and switch." There ought to be a law against these deathdealers. Political Irony should replace American History as a requirement for high school graduation. Excuse me while I run to the store before all the handsoap is gone.

  6. After visiting 40 websites today I am asking anyone who gives a shit to contact their Dem. representatives and demand a NO vote on the health care bill. It is a true wolf in sheeps' clothing for all but the wealthy. Thank you.
