I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

  1. Next month, my wife and I will be enjoying, at the Granada Theater in Dallas, Bela Fleck and the Africa Project, which is a collaboration between the world's greatest banjo player and a group of Malians playing traditional African instruments. Primo!

  2. Good for you-that sounds like a blast. This music is just plain fun to listen to. Travelling music like this will be playing always from Muslim homes and businesses. To me it seems haunting in a way but also appropriate.

On the coast of West Africa it's Hi Life and I found at the same site a Nigerian group that has a video posted that is excellent as well. Most of the new videos posted are hip hop that does not appeal to me very much. It's the younger crowd and of course the are the computer literate so that makes sense.
