I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Mormon Bishop/School Board Member Arrested

Put this slug so far back in the cell they have to pipe him the food. This is what Mormon men are about - many of them. Teenage girls and how in the hell can the women allow this shit to go on. At least this abuser got arrested and charged. Polygamy and other abuses like this still goes on not just in Colorado City but all over. These people are sick fucks! Wonder how many teenies Herr Hatch keeps around. It's always been a cover-up ever since they got run out of Nauvoo.

  1. Hi Amigo: I'm sure you're right, though I sometimes find myself trying not to generalize too much in my certainties about how many wives a man should be able to have, or how many husbands a woman should be allowed to have so long as it's something agreed to by the parties involved.

Sounds as though the organs of the criminal justice system are investigating what happened and a court will sort out the facts and legalities to arrive at whatever's appropriate. Second guessing any of it relies too heavily on a body of evidence put forth by the news media to leave a person feeling confident he knows how it came down.

I used to know some Mormons but I don't know any now. The ones I knew were good people. But probably you're correct saying all that stuff is what Mormon men are about and I was lucky to have been acquainted with the exceptions.

I definitely agree with the undercurrent of approval in your post about running them out of the neuvo by raping, beating the hell out of them, killing them, burning down their houses until they loaded hand carts with what they had left and pushed them to Utah to try to save themselves.

  2. Thanks for your input Jules. The reason I said what I did is because over the years there have been a handful of young Mormon men and I eventually get around to asking them after they get to know me a bit if some Mormon adult males keep more than one wife and the answer has always been yes.

Just like in the article - these people try as hard as they can to keep all the bad shit out of sight and there's a bunch of bad shit going on behind the scenes.

Yup - those Mormon kids come to work here for a summer or two and when they leave it's certain they are never going to be the same.

  3. The guy doesn't have the money to buy fancy lawyers to character assassinate the witness like DSK did in NY, and religion wasn't involved there.
All he's being charged with is failure to notify the authorities about someone else's criminal act.
How many criminals use, "I wasn't doing nothing," as an excuse. Here's an example of how doing nothing is a crime.
