I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

My Very Short 911 Story

Today 9/11/11
Osama is gone but not much has changed.  There are guns all over the country "protecting" us and after two weeks or more of ramping up by media the flags of false patriotism are flapping harder than usual on the 10th go around.

Not many flag wavers talk of what else was lost in those 10 years. That wouldn't be patriotic ya see.  Go read Cujo too. He's even more sick of it then me or maybe not.

On that morning seven years ago Bradley came into the shop and told me what happened. I went over to the chump house(pro shop) and watched for a short period of time and said in a very loud voice for the several dozen there to hear clearly "there go our rights" and walked out.

Looking back it seems a bit odd but I just knew. Called my long time PC buddy and we talked about what we had said for years that something like this was bound to happen and it did that morning. This event was not a surprise to us.

Finished out the work day turning the radio on only a couple times for unending speculation that served no purpose. Went fishing for six hours on a beautiful day in the Rockies catching so many it was easy to not think about what was to come.

Sat down in front of the tube at 9 o'clock and watched the nightmare that continues to unfold to this very day.

Today 9/11/10
The nightmare referred to is not as bad but is still there. The major damage has been done and Osama gloats whether he is dead or squatting in a cave.

  1. It's always that one event that allows the trouble to start seeping in. In this case, it was a torrential downpour of unadulterated bullshit, and it won't end until the next "Terrorist" act on our soil.

And now, I'm going to forget that it's Sept. 11 and have a beautiful day. I hope you do, too.

  2. One Fly, go read the poem over on Yorkshire Pudding's blog: http://beefgravy.blogspot.com/

Folks in other parts of the world, where they aren't encouraged to plaster their lawns with American flags, seem to have a better understanding of what happened. Here, it was just another opportunity to take advantage of a tragedy to make money. How many billions have we spent to keep us "safe"? In the meantime we're ignoring the real threats that nature has thrown our way as long as we can remember. A small portion of those billions could have been shoring up levees in places where we've unwisely built towns, or even just provided and stocked shelters. Or think of the benefits if they'd just left that money in our pockets.

  3. Thanks for the link, One Fly. I don't know how sick I am of this relative to other people, but for me it's high time to move on. Being so obsessed with this day has turned us into a society I thought I'd only see in dystopian science fiction.

  4. I am a Truther.
There is not enough room on this comment page to let you know how I really feel. :-)

The truth shall set them free.

  5. I'm with you, baby.

    And soooo long ago too.

As I watched the first video of the plane hit around 9:15 AM (my day off from teaching), having just turned on the tube after coming down to the living room, I also thought "Shit. I'll never have a job again."

    And I was right.

Thanks for following this so faithfully, all of you, and remember that when money seems to have been misspent, it's because we don't have the details as to exactly whom it went to.

There were no mistakes made then (IMHO).

Just the setup from the PNAC 1997 meeting fulfilled.

    The New Pearl Harbor.

And it worked like a precision instrument.

    Peace to us all.

    Love ya,

    S

    Any questions?

  8. OK, RZ, I watched the whole video. All those Bush clips made me sick, I can't stand more than 5 seconds a week of the monkeyman, that was a severe overdose. I can see how significant it is that Osama BL was found in Pakistan. And now I have to wonder, are we sure he's dead? Would it really make a difference?

Are there any updates to the questions that haven't been answered? Would it make a difference if we had answers? People in this country are just a disappointment.

  9. It is not a question of if he is dead.
IMO the question is --for how long has he been dead?
I believe he died at Tora Bora, or shortly thereafter.

But the myth [fear card] lived on.
Walt Disney could not have done a better job. :-).
    Teach your grand children well.
They MIGHT be the first generation to find out the truth.

The "difference" will be for our future, not our past.
We are worst than a disappointment.
    We are a disgrace.
We have bought into War is Peace - Peace is War.

Beware of the next false flag.

  10. Remember the Alamo and Goliad, amigo. Remember the Maine. Remember the Lusitania. Remember Pearl Harbor. Remember Bataan.

When the juices slow down after all that purposeful remembering to stir up cheers, parades and money everyone forgets.

But all these people wallowing and pounding their chests in mock anguish, anger and soap opera waving of their Chinese manufactured US flags know what they're doing. They're just hoping the ones not screaming their grief and shouting another empty cry to support their foreign wars will feel guily, afraid to point out how damned phony they are, how deceptive, what hypocrites they are being pretending concern about strangers who've been dead a decade.

  11. Thanks for that Jules. We have all correctly described the reality.
