I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

"Unconscionable" Colorado's School Funding

This one hurts as it should. From a case filed in 2005 and it's really bad now with this state's school system.

Briefly my opinion has always been and truly believe that whether it's here or anywhere else in the country all are facing the same thing not just on education.

It's wrong to discuss these problems without including the road taken to get there. Why? Because that same road is still here. Two examples -wars for lies and give away's to the bankster's  with no accountability for the crimes committed by the 1% against the 99%.

As long as this blog exists there will no participating in the rewriting of history.

  1. The so-called free education in this country is in a miserable state. The whole thing needs reworking and a new motive for it established. We don't need more worker bees/drones, we need a more well-educated, critical thinking citizenry.

    Good Morning.

  2. Yes it is pretty good. Thanks and the same back.

How do we accomplish things needed now given the climate of let's just say these last three years.

  3. Texas went down the very same road years ago, and our school-funding system is still cock-a-hoop.

  4. America will have to choose in the very near future.
Will we keep accepting a Corporatocracy that feeds on the blood sweat and tears of the masses.
Or do we rethink and start looking at the needs of the people.
Our military is suppose to defend those that can not defend themselves.
Instead we invade, shock and awe, occupy foreign lands for their natural resources and their transit routes.
Educating our youth, taking care of our elderly, providing for our less fortunate is no where to be seen.
Both sides of the aisle are blinded by the money from the Corps.
If we raise fools, then we are fools.

  5. Good for the judge. Guess what there is a way to follow the judges order without adding more money. Get rid of all the rediculous testing and programs that do nothing to help the classroom and use the money wasted on them to provice the education needed.

IF O wins in 2012, Jeb will be the president in 2016.

  8. Pretty dramatic article.

These people will and are winning this battle/debate !

Why - because dumb asses on the left think the samo is enough and bama is their side.

Look the fuck out people - this is not going to be good this coming year.

  9. Exactly.
    It is not a debate.
    It is a battle.
A battle for humanity, and this pale blue dot that we are visiting.

The sooner that the left recognizes this, the better off they will be.

  10. HAving come from the public school system, well....all I can say is there are fat cats on the top level there just like in all huge corporations..

    Wow. That's great. You're very lucky. :)
    Merry Christmas!

  11. Having also come from the public school system, I can say Terry and Linda are correct. A lot of money goes to the EdBiz, not to the schools and kids. Personally I prefer neighborhood schools to monolithic school districts that require lots of fat cats. And I also agree about doing away with standardized testing, but there are already EdBiz companies gearing up to be the "one" in charge of testing to the new Common Core Standards. In the EdBiz they like to make rules, then hire people to enforce them. Kids aren't learning? Blame it on illegal aliens, that's a good tactic.

  12. What I learned at this very small school from K-6th grade carry me to this day. This rural school included 7 thru 12 as well. We need to educate this nations children and we're not doing it. Again decisions made in DC that favor corporations and ideology instead of the other.
