I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You're Not A Cop So What Do Ordinary People Do?

You're sitting in your car doing whatever and all a sudden the driver's side window is smashed and there is a person standing there with a hammer wishing to do more harm.  Personally and very quickly a decision would be made for right or wrong.

Now you're a badge with a gun and a license and the same scenario. You know too that not often are your brothers found guilty of wrong doing when people are shot.  "I immediately went to my gun"said the officer in this case.

Badges at what ever level literally do have a license to shoot people at will and at their discretion of when and how many times.

A very recent change in that it is now legal for the military to take us away. They don't have badges but they do have guns. I suppose that if they can take you away they can probably shoot the piss outta you as well.

  1. What do I do? I'm in a 2 ton deadly weapon. I hit the gas pedal and GTF outta there, of course. Feets, don't lemme down!

But if I had a gun and someone smashed in my window like that? If I lived in a state where it was legal for a civilian to have a gun in your car, that is? I dunno. That's why I wouldn't have a gun in my car even if it were legal, because *I don't know*. And that not-knowing would probably be worse for my health than knowing that I have no alternative but to hit the gas and GTF outta there.

  2. Memba' when we all referred to Bush's Murika?

    Now, it's Dear Leader's Murika.

The very same people who screeched about Bush's overreaching and now cheering on the same behavior by Obama.

Indefinite detention isn't just wrong, it is unconstitutional.

Just like Obama giving the order to the US military to begin bombing Libya while he was at 38,000 feet en route to Brazil.

Law enforcement overreach isn't new but unfortunately, it is on the increase.

Law enforcement no longer refers to us as "citizens," we're "civilians." Failed military people armed with dishonorable discharges are routinely recruited by local law enforcement to fill vacancies.

Murika is now officially a police state. Bow down to the Stassi or else.

  3. I don't own a gun because I have a nasty temper. If some lowlife hurt my cute little car, even though I'm an old, crimpled lady, I would undoubtedly try to kill him. Not too smart, but lowlives annoy me.

Why does the government think it needs an indefinite detention law? Are they expecting an American Spring?

  4. I considered taking something along this time but not going to. I have used a gun with a purpose since I've lived here. It was rodent control.
