I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

It Ain't Right

It's 6:30 in the morning without a cloud in the sky. I would assume temps will again be at or a bit above a 100 today. There are many records being set and Colorado burns.

  1. One by one, all of my favorite spots in Colorado are being burned out.

  2. This is a huge hit Fearguth and that's just so far. Home seems the place to be when it gets like this.

  3. Ditto to what Fearguth said. I loved Manitou Springs in the '70's. I know it has grown to be much larger, but such nice memories in that area. Devastating and so frightening to those who live there. Our country is being destroyed in so many ways....

  4. I meant to add, nothing like the atmosphere of a good beer joint. Nice pic.

  5. Then there's the "Moon Glow" in Walsenburg that is open now and then. It gets a visit as soon it comes together. I enjoy sitting at old bars and having something while thinking of times gone by.

  6. Love beer joint pics...old ones, tho. It's horribly hot here in KC. We need rain... Agree with Teresa! Loved Manitou in the 70's & 80's. It really has changed. Very nice picture.

  8. I remember you predicting huge wildfires in Colorada three years ago.
The bark beetle infestation that left thousands of acres of dead trees.

    So sorry you were right.

I hope you are safe my friend, this isn't over by a long shot.
