I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

What 284 Gets You

That's $2.84 including tax. One biscuit with a bit of a human touch with the gravy - six thin very tasty strips of bacon that you can chew and chew and some real decent hot chocolate.

I got this thing about biscuits and gravy and bacon for that matter as well. Most of the time b&g are a disappointment just like Chinese chop.

This gets a 9 outta ten overall because it's just plain good. Factor in the cost and it becomes a 10+.

I don't care about sports much but did look at the baseball stats and I see the rocks are in the shitter - deep in the shitter.

  1. Loved this whole post, PLUS a cool photo of Stretch on the front porch just looking at you, saying...What are you doing!

And the heat rising up from the ground to start another day.

Any rain there...I hope ours gets to you...it feels wonderful!

No rain for two days but cool 70* weather. Refreshing.

  2. I think that's the dirty lens instead of heat. No rain but it is overcast and 67. It did get up to 96 yesterday. Just right - kinda.

  3. Hey, Fly

I'm more of a hash browns and gravy guy, but always the bacon. Had BLT's for dinner last night. And, yes, I did save the Bacon Grease.

Super HOT here for the last couple of weeks and no rain. Heat is supposed to break starting Sunday, 105 projected for today.

I got back from my 11 week temporary assignment a week ago. Sorry we couldn't hook up on your mid-west trip.

Keep them pic and posts coming, always enjoy.

  4. Oooh yummy...I have a real weakness for B&G. I'm heading to Ft. Scott in the morning with BF (he keeps some of his cattle down there)anyway, B&G is required if he wants me to go. Cool picture of Stretch! is he black or gray?
