I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Done Deal

And mission accomplished. This is a real nice Suby with some amenities. It should be too cuz it cost a lot.  I'm done but the money will continue to flow for the other stuff needed. To be clear it was not me who bought this.

Took most of nine hours and uneventful. There are still aspens and other trees with color but all past peak. It was a good ride.

  1. congrats on the new car! I went to RMNP last week...agree about the color. Hand is better, but still time consuming to type.

    1. Glad you made it out here and your hand is better as well. It takes a long time. It's nice enough out but there are literally few colors and have taken few pictures. Some yesterday but nothing really.

  3. I was moving my wife's aunt into an assisted living community yesterday and my father in-law pulled up in his 1987 Volvo 240 to help out. And it's not one of those "Oh, it only has 30,000 miles on it" either.

  4. The colors are flying by here also. We finally got the roof on the house...the whole house is now re-roofed. Corn harvest starts Monday with a quick trip to Buena Vista then back to harvest then another quick trip to Denver. Then back to corn harvest. We are going to be stressed for sure...I hope the weather holds.

  6. Congratulations on the new car! I've actually read your other blog post about looking for this Forester. And I can say that you've really exerted some extra effort just to buy this car, am I right? Well, I suppose the unique driving comfort it has compared to other SUV's is just exceptional.

  7. You are right Ernest. Suby's are great cars and have performed for me better than any other for the most part. Thanks for the visit!
