I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

If This Was A Win

Credit needs to be given that at least it wasn't the worst deal made by the bama but the fact of the matter we haven't seen anything yet. From the mouth of Boner -

In a statement after the vote, Boehner said, "Now the focus turns to spending. The American people re-elected a Republican majority in the House, and we will use it in 2013 to hold the president accountable for the 'balanced' approach he promised, meaning significant spending cuts and reforms to the entitlement programs that are driving our country deeper and deeper into debt."

The bush tax cuts was a huge issue and the fine print gets lost at time with me but if these cuts were rolled back like was supposed to happen anyway why aren't they crowing about it?

I read the Speaker's quote as a bit threatening. They gave but sure as hell won't be inclined to do so again and in two months we'll be back seeing the same shit and worse.

I'm glad the 2% Social Security payroll cut is gone and of course when they speak of entitlements they mean that primarily and the so called Left can't even say that SS has nothing to do with our national debt plus it's our own money we put in.

As with this bull shit from the same piece -
The relative paucity of spending cuts was a sticking point with many House Republicans. Among other items, the extension of unemployment benefits costs $30 billion, and is not offset by savings elsewhere.

Like with SS we and our employer contribute into this fund. It's our money and does not need to be offset anywhere else. Sheez!

These baggers and repugs along with dims who are close cousins will be back soon and the circus will continue in force. That you can count on!

Text size is all over the place-sorry bout that.

  1. I'm also happy about the payroll cut is gone. But being human, there is a small whiny voice in me saying, "I want my cake and eat it too."

  4. First time visit, a farmer from down in the flatlands of Kansas, we (a few of us) were glad to see the wind energy tax credit was included in the law passed New Years day. Looking at your blog I assume you might be interested in a veterans organization that works for environmental issues with the double goal of slowing world temperature rise and eliminating the US's need to fight energy wars. These x soldiers pressure for renewables and against carbon. Some news sites credit them with helping to get the wind energy tax credit in the bill. Check it out at http://www.operationfree.net/

  5. They won't stop coming for SS, M, & M. That's something Obama told us even before he took office. Ever since then, mainstream progressives have told us they're willing to vote for him and make excuses for him as he and the Democrats do that, so it will happen eventually.
