I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Good On The Sherpas

Switzerland's Ueli Steck and Simone Moro from Italy I'm sure feel they're just pretty special and don't have to follow instructions.

Sherpas wanted to kick their ass and I don't blame them and feel this is pretty much what happened while climbing Everest.

The fight allegedly broke out after the pair ignored orders to hold their climb while the Sherpas were rigging ropes. One version of events is that the guides asked the climbers to wait while they went ahead and secured ropes, but the climbers continued and dislodged ice which fell on the guides.

Mr Moro said  "getting hit by chunks of ice is a very natural occurrence". Ok then Uely Steck should damn well understand that because -

In 2007, whilst climbing up the direct line on the southern flank to the summit of Annapurna in the Himalayas, he was hit by a falling rock which smashed his helmet. He was knocked unconscious, slipped more than 200 feet, but survived with only bruises and a concussion.

And if he/they did put these men in danger I don't blame these guides for being annoyed!

On Squealing

The was this family who had a fabrication business and when break time came no matter how busy all stopped at once and had a break in the break room. I hung out there some as that was part of my job back then.

Discussion at times would center around what was charged for work done and the response from who was getting charged and what they had to say. Depending on any number criteria like who it was, past history, attitude possibly, was it a emergency, things like that a price was arrived at. More than once when a response was described of someones maybe negative reaction to what he was charged you might hear back "You made him squeal just right". I happen to think that's funny as hell. I got to squeal a couple times myself.

In respect to the implementation of Amendment 64 you have a guy who has a D in front of his name wanting and will probably get a 30% tax on marijuana.

Rep. Jonathan Singer, D-Longmont, sponsored House Bill 1318, which calls for the 30 percent tax rate.

In addition the simple shit pulled this nonsense out of his ass as well.

Without the steep tax, Singer said, “we won’t actually be able to implement a model that will assure that our local communities are kept safe.”

People need to be made safe from your stupidity. Mentality from the early 20th century.

Then at a national level you have our so called buds who have the D's in front of their name again going after internet sales tax. They will get it. Thanks again you pricks.

Yup - the squealing you hear is me and it's a lot more than "just right"! It's wrong.

The Women Finally Said Something Right

Appearing in an interview Thursday on NBC's "Today" show, Mrs. Bush was asked how she felt about Jeb, the former governor of Florida, seeking the presidency in 2016.
Mrs. Bush replied, quote, "We've had enough Bushes."

Watch it happen!

This Is Good Too

As Colorado muddles it's way through the pot issues and it's only an issue to those who lost and of course fear everything but not the State Senate who for the fourth time in a row did the right thing!

A marijuana blood limit for drivers was rejected Monday for a fourth time in the Colorado Senate, where bipartisan skepticism on the pot analogy to blood-alcohol limits helped sink the measure even in a weaker form.

It was the 5 nano gram limit they were after. When you got the cops wanting this and to them it was a good number you know it's bad. So many people would have gotten screwed, threatened and fucked with.

Now these badges cannot jerk you around. They can but they will lose because marijuana is legal in Colorado and they have no way of proving THC in your system is impairing your driving  well - - - because it's not.

It's the boozers and medicine chest junkies that are the real killers on the road not people who smoke herb. That's a fact whether you care to believe or not. I could give a shit. Talk to an honest cop and they will tell you the same.

A Good Thing Happened

Riverbend the Iraqi girl blogger survived along with her family the killing fields of Iraq. After years she made a post with an update.

Cujo saw this and wrote about it as he was a fan of hers as well.

Here at OTC we kept the light on all that time for this young women and it was a good day when I learned that she was alive.

An amazing blogger who wrote of what life was like and what it became for her and all other Iraqi's after the neo-cons invaded their country on a pack of lies.

The Way It Is This Morning In The Cornfield

It's been a long time. A no bullshit thank you to those of you who contacted me for the lack of posting.

I was sick and still slightly am since I returned from Costa Rica on 3/28. Only a few remnants left with that but it was for a long time. In many ways it's like spending three months in another country didn't happen.

I don't have a whole lot to say and actually have been chastised for taking realistic positions. I guess the train of optimism that so many are on needs to be boarded or something like that. Apology's for saying bama was going to throw mine/yours/everybody's Social Security and other things onto the rails for so long a time. Ya like if I would have had your optimism that it wasn't going to happen that would have made a difference. Plus I cuss to goddamn much. You guys get off the train!

I've learned a lot in recent months and some things already known and predicted were reinforced. Like how important it is for me to live where it's warmer for one.

I like the simplicity of life I had in CR. My experience was probably different than most. It's not paradise by any means. It about life and how you interact with it given what you have and what you think is important to you. I just happen to think that simple is better in many cases.  I think it's fair to say some expats there face alcohol and drug issues. And just for your information the pot wasn't worth a shit and was expensive. Coke $10 a gram and pretty good I'm told.

Continue to take the position this country is incapable of moving forward in a positive way. We can't have an intelligent conversation on most anything. Optimism will not change innocents being killed in our name other places and until we understand innocents killed by us are just as important to "them" as ours are to us the human race can not move forward in a positive way.

Some conflict has returned but I am very optimistic of the future and look forward to what I think and hope will be an interesting adventure into what's left of life without conflict.

Got a kick out of meeting so many interesting people. Knew that would be the case. It's fun damn it. The food I swear was noticeably better. It was all literally bursting with flavor. That was something I wanted to learn. Our food sources have been bastardized slowly for so long that it's something other now. I am not wrong on this go see for yourself. It's almost worth going back again just for the food I shit you not!

A place where I walked was a favorite soaring spot for buzzards from all over because there were a lot of them. I found watching them to be very peaceful.

Stuff like that.
