The next logical progression in the way this works are the bribes paid to proceed.

And you do not dare to resist and or protest.

Let's use these same tactics around the beltway and the hill looking for the same thing - heh?One Flyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03772881642197609507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1641923323486284057.post-4339200003221654222010-01-10T17:42:27.094-07:002010-01-10T17:42:27.094-07:00I'm glad I did not miss this post. Yes, that i...I'm glad I did not miss this post. Yes, that is life on the border. And Cujo is right: they're searching for unauthorized immigrants as well as drugs. But the whole thing is rather unnerving. When a public bus passes thru a checkpoint the agents enter the bus and make everyone who is not a citizen show their documents.
Sometimes I have to show mine, too. You have to do whatever they say.Billie Greenwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08214111146566550821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1641923323486284057.post-9791754115649740372010-01-03T06:04:30.969-07:002010-01-03T06:04:30.969-07:00With the Fruit of the Loom Bomber I think it's...With the Fruit of the Loom Bomber I think it's more than pot. I agree with Cujo on this except the word encroaching. I think we've already been encroached; good and proper, too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1641923323486284057.post-86119357299997157602010-01-02T15:47:04.761-07:002010-01-02T15:47:04.761-07:00We have them up our way also...

A few years ago, I encountered a Border Patrol station on the way to White Sands National Monument. It's hard to imagine as much nothing in one place as there is on that road. It's a long way (roughly 100 miles) from the border. Yet the BP had a full time station there to check to see if you look Mexican.

I take it as a sign of an encroaching police state. Legalizing marijuana is a good idea, but there are so many other reasons that this sort of thing is going on that I think that's a whole other kettle of fish.Cujo359https://www.blogger.com/profile/10385213658828021737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1641923323486284057.post-81657302369917032012010-01-02T09:51:07.917-07:002010-01-02T09:51:07.917-07:00Wow, what a pain in the ass!Wow, what a pain in the ass!Life As I Know It Nowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03733963455243806298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1641923323486284057.post-74310481347210317892010-01-02T09:32:00.456-07:002010-01-02T09:32:00.456-07:00LEGALIZE MARIJUANA!!!!LEGALIZE MARIJUANA!!!!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18303260031729868857noreply@blogger.com
