Once A Year

That time has rolled around once again and it seems time is going faster than ever before. When little One Fly was brought home to the middle of the cornfield there was a blizzard that lasted three days. One year short of six decades-yikes!!

Continue to be so lucky in that I still have my health and am able to do everything I've always been able to do. Shelled out 1400 smackers to the dentist and that's with insurance. 401k down close to 40% now. Not complaining as compared to millions I have it easy.

Soon I have to back away from this blog and the time spent on the internets. Spring is coming early this year so there's work related things I want to concentrate on as I still get satisfaction from that plus things need to be done to this place I live in.

Have made a commitement to myself that I will golf, fish and camp much more than in the last three years. It's a must do for myself while I'm still able. Too many I hear of wake up one morning and are very sick never to recover.

Will continue to blog but it will not be as much but will always put a new picture up daily as that's another thing I want to concentrate on is taking hopefully better pictures. I know I can always visit my fellow bloggers and get the real news and the rest of the story.

It's going to be close to 60 today-something ain't right.

Giv'em hell!

  2. Get fixed the things that need fixing.

Go and enjoy doing the things you enjoy doing, 'cause life's just way to short not to do the things we love. I will be putting in a garden this year, some thing I've wanted to get back to for all too many years.

And once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Enjoy the day, my friend.

  6. happy birthday one fly.

as i was telling my oldest girl just before i was very very extravagent, if not now - when? this is the time that i've worked for all my life - if not now, when?
she looked at me and said 'no fucking shit mom'. i did buy the good pots and pans instead of the usual cheap crap and i'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

have fun fishing, camping, etc. enjoy your spring - tis our reward for getting through winter. i'll still be checking daily for new posts and, of course, your great eye candy.
