Then there's this nutter in the state legislature who crying picked on as usual about not being able to practice his religion while attending our public schools. This kdragger says
"there is a growing perception among citizens that public schools are hostile to individual expression and exercise of religious beliefs."
This is so asinine yet they continue which is there prerogative but when do you call it quits after getting your ass kicked all the time. They won't because they can continue to claim picked on cuz they can't get their way.

Public schools should be hostile to individual expression and exercise of religious beliefs. Religions tend toward the anti-intellectual which should be anathema in any institution of learning, higher or lower. If you want to exercise your religious beliefs, you go to church. They are equipped to handle believers in superstition and the occult.
ReplyDeleteI have no problem with anyone going to the church of their choice but if they declare their beliefs outside of church, they should be publicly whipped for the enjoyment of the rest of us.
I like that publicly whipped thing so maybe they could be shamed into doing what is right. Woody's got a post up on this that is straight to the point.
