This has been going on for at least two decades and there have been missing sheepherders as well with claims of murder.

Two Peruvian sheepherders who left a Craig ranch with only the clothes on their backs filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday saying they were abused by ranchers with a 20-year record of federal labor complaints.

I see many Peruvians herding sheep and have interacted with several. These men have been very nice to me. Nobody deserves this kind of treatment but it continues year after year.

Of course the local whore fishwrapper and it's sister paper in Craig where the story originates have not covered this. After all it's about dem tourism dollars ya know.
