This is one of them.
BP is capturing 25,000 barrels of oil daily from the Deepwater Horizon site and relief wells should stop the leak — as soon as next month.
Plus- "I have a high degree of confidence that this program will work," he said. "The best brains in the world are focused on this issue."
There are a bunch of other numbers in this piece and they do not add up. Nor does the rest of his political BS he spits out. He makes it clear he hasn't had a day off so take that into consideration too.
I wished I shared the Secretary's optimism but as far as I'm concerned until this is shut off 100% we got squat and that is the simple fact of this disaster at this time.
I'm gonna go see if I can catch a fish in water that is not contaminated with oil.
Have a good Saturday and thanks for the visit.
Salazar should have been fired on the spot.
ReplyDeleteYou know the real experts think the best case scenario is 2 years if ever unless they nuke it and turn the seabed to glass to seal the cracked floor. Screw them assholes!

This should confirm why Matt Simmons has been talking about nuking it.
They have to glass the whole thing up.
I'm writing Sunday morning and can't find my glasses so please excuse.
ReplyDeleteCowboy Ken Salazar is a left over From the Bush administration. He's been bought and paid for by big oil.
He was hired to clean up MMS as even 60 minutes told us they were. 15 Months go by and he didn't do squat.
Why he's still in his job is a mystery. One thing he did do is reverse all that scheduled drilling that was to happen in National Parks. W signed for those little gifts on his last day of office.
That is one good thing he did was put a stop to that. I tell you guys that west and south of here there is so much activity in respect to drilling and the production and transport of oil and gas it's overwhelming at times. There is a giant field south of Vernal that is just huge.
ReplyDeleteI do not have any issues with that. Of the hundreds of sites I've seen there have been no signs of any accidents or what have you.
