Specifically the two of ours that perished at the hands of an American trained Iraqi soldier. By now possibly that number may have risen with the nine other Americans wounded in the same incident.
This is not something new but it shows clearly the failure of this debacle that the Neo-killers and the Chimp are totally responsible for.
How can any soldier left in Iraq turn their back on any Iraqi? I could not nor will any of them and who can blame them for not trusting these people.
What a goddamn nightmare.
Can you imagine the parents of these troops killed here having to explain why or how their child died.
Not trying to make a tragic situation more tragic here, so I even hesitate to say what is on my mind & in my heart today. I'm thinking that the war actually made the situation in Iraq worse, less livable for the Iraqis. The deaths, worse than "for nothing" or neutral, were the result of a war that made things more negative. History will not be kind to our nation because we don't deserve mercy.
ReplyDeleteHi Billie and of course it made it worse-much worse. History is being rewritten as we speak and it portrays these killers in a positive light because it doesn't mention the scheming that went on the day Bush was sworn in the first time or of course all the lies. The press will make sure Bush and his low-life buds come out smelling real good. At least in this country. People in other country's are a bit smarter than us.
ReplyDeleteBut President Carebear said we've turned the page in Iraq. So this bloody incident doesn't count.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how that page turn was received in Irak?
ReplyDeleteThe hell on earth Bush created for Iraqi's will get much worse before it engulfs the entire middle east as expected. Afghanistan will not be won either as we describe victory.
ReplyDeleteIt really peeves me that we have those soldiers in both countries killing us for this. I just talked to Tom in Afghanistan and reiterated he better not take his eyes off them But they have also killed Americans in there sleep. I just wish we'd go home and we won't!
To date, many have tried to take Afghanistan and none have succeeded. Why America thinks it can win here is beyond me. I agree, all these deaths are for nothing. We are enriching the corrupt, ensuring that those in power become very rich, and are garnering a great deal of support for the Taliban. It is a meaningless gesture which should have been abandoned long ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit and great comment Zhann. TB
