This is very interesting in respect to the numbers involved and the dramatic rate of growth. It only names the major players not the small providers such as we use in Oak Creek. There is an ongoing attempt by corporations to gain control over access to the Internet. This is called "Net Neutrality" which would create a two-tiered system which unless one payed their ability to access the Internet would be severely restricted. The Internet was created to give all people any where in the world just that-equal access.

House Panel Approves International Internet Freedom Bill

The House Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday approved a bill that aims to shield the citizens of repressive regimes from the overbearing reach of their government officials.
