At least a dozen men ambushed Sri Lanka's cricket team with rifles, grenades and rocket launchers Tuesday as they drove to the stadium ahead of a match in Pakistan, killing six policemen and a driver.
Maybe these guys were just sick of this boring ass game.
Sounds like somebody was afraid of losing the match.

ReplyDeleteThe team that was attacked, the Sri Lankans, was one of the few that could be persuaded to play there in the last few years. Many countries even skipped the last championship that was held there a couple of years ago (or maybe it was last year). Cricket is as popular there as baseball or football are here. Just another sign of how bad things have gotten in Pakistan.
