Pretty dramatic I'd say.
They call these guys the "Hopping Hooded Bandits."because they jump up on the counters and threaten all sorts of hell on those they're robbing.
You'd think they would have to know they will eventually be caught. But what the hell do I know cuz I don't play video games or watch shoot 'em up gangsta movies.
Are the police pursuing any older guys? The last couple of years the bankrobbers are 60-70 years old in many cases. Either that or junkies who hit 6-7 branch banks then go to drug rehab(federal pens). Where I live in 15 months there have been 18 murders,( 6 still unsolved), mucho robberies and home invasions, etc. I'm glad I moved to the suburbs to get away from high crime areas. I live on the Portland/Vancouver, Wa. border burbs.
ReplyDeleteI think Fredrich Nietzche would say that this phenomena represents nihilists getting to the available cash in the banks before Wall Street investment bankers steal it all. See Big Liebowski for definitions of and examples of nihilists. Great movie, too.
