A few days ago my favorite station played some new music from John Sebastian that I liked and had been thinking about since.
Today got the call that I've been waiting for from a long time friend telling me she got the/a job with the government after years of trying that after six months of training whatever she'll be doing will be classified. She stuck out two years in the Peace Corps that helped land this. I am soooo happy for her. She'll be one of the best out there without question. This was a major hiring process.
Needs to get out east sooner than later and told me she'll be going through Nashville. That took care of it. It's time for Nashville Cats and the Lovin' Spoonful.
Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end, we'd laugh forever and a day, We'd live the life we choose, we'd fight and never lose, for we were young and sure to have our way. La la la...
