There Is No Bravery In The Killing Of Innocents

I am so tired of the innocents being killed in my name.

I have grown weary of enduring years of this killing.

I have grown so bitter of the hypocrisy of those who condone this and pray to a cloud being that does not exist.

I despise the people who were put in office to change this but instead fund more killing in my name.

Is their an attitude here? Of course yes and it will not change.

  1. Your sentiment is actually a sign of progress, One Fly. I'm reading a history of the Crusades right now, and one thousand years ago, there was no distinction between the guilty and the innocent. In war, everyone was either killed or enslaved---men, women, and children alike.

  2. That would be true. There's a long way to go and it's time to shift into second gear.

  3. I certainly agree with you.

I've just written an essay about the 200,000 we decided to kill in Central America after the CIA-led coup against the President of Guatemala, Jacobo Arbenz, that protected the profits of the United Fruit Company.

Thanks for keeping these facts at the front of our conscience.
