This guy knew damn good and well this was what he was going to do if elected but said nothing while campaigning. And he could care less what conflicts this presents and he's gonna do what ever he wants ya see cuz he is who he is and you are not. What a piece of shit I mean after all he's a repuglican.

The liberal group ProgressNow Colorado on Saturday called for Secretary of State Scott Gessler to either abandon his plan to moonlight with his old law firm or step down. Gessler, a Republican who defeated Democratic incumbent Bernie Buescher in November, said he's going to be working about 20 hours a month for the Hackstaff Law Group, formerly Hackstaff Gessler, one of the most well- known elections and campaign law firms in town, and distinguished for representing many Republican soft-money organizations. Gessler, who will earn $68,500 as secretary of state, said that salary wasn't enough to support his family.

If he doesn't think the salary isn't enough to live on, why did he run? I'm sure he has plenty of investments that generate income.
