I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

  1. Is this the "black canyon of the Gunnison"? I was there once, wanted to go down but was told it is a real boulder scramble of a trail and we didn't really have the time either. Could see a couple sun bathing on a sandbar at the river, tiny tiny little people.

  4. Sad, isn't it?!!! Our National Parks are taking a hit, but then, they always get the back seat. Love National Parks! All of them... Great header, by the way

  8. Nice to hear from you again. Last time I tried to read your blog it didn't come up and I thought you'd shut it down. Have to put you back on my favorites.
Let me have an e-mail and I'll send you a rough draft of my latest novel, if you don't mind giving me some input on it.
Good friend of mine was down here, but had to go back home to Gunnison. Trying to get her moved down here, but she's stuck in the place she's in for now.

    1. I often wonder Tony what animal population numbers were like then. It must have been something to see rivaling possibly the plains of East Africa. Thanks!
