I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Jesus And His Daddy Can Go Screw Themselves

From back in the cornfield where they love their non existent sky being's way too much they kick the one they love square in the nuts and over the goal posts when it comes to helping their fellow man in these times.

What's at the top of the list---well it's the needy. I guess the sky being will take care of them.

What's next?? Well you cut guvment ya see there you betcha!

A bunch of dumb ass religiously insane hypocrites is what I think. I uses to be fairly proud to say I was a native son of Iowa but not for years and as time goes on it becomes embarrassing to say so.

What area could the government most afford to cut in order to try and get federal spending under control?

* National Defense: 13.7% (39 votes)

  1. it's no coincidence that so many defense industry jobs go to the paranoid suburbanites that vote the hawks in... these would be the same goobers who blew surplus after surplus, gutted city after city, alienated culture after culture, in the name of their almighty and oh so sanctified suburban lifestyle...

it's funny, but tax shelters for the uber-rich weren't on that list... I wonder what the vote would've looked like then

  2. to my point above, Newt Gingrich's Cobb County received the second highest amount of federal funding in the country... second only to Arlington County, which houses both the pentagon and the CIA....

  3. Where was the poll taken?
I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the numbers on several of the areas.
    1) National Defense
    2) Ag assistance
    3) Agency Admin. and
    4) Raise taxes
You'll always have people bitching about welfare - everybody's against it until they need it. And the general public has always undervalued schooling.
I think folks are down on Ag assistance because of the huge checks to the farmers who work mega-acres. If the money was going to the family farms with limited acreages, I don't think there'd be much complaining.
I'm kinda cheered by the poll - except for the number wanting to cut welfare - they are the totally brain dead - and agency administration. I think the later was chosen for the wrong reasons: general anti-government feelings rather than a desire for much greater efficiency.

  4. The link is in the first sentance from the NW part of the cornfield.

I notice some of those things as well jeg. Defense was interesting but the two front runners spell tea bag to me.

AG give away is from the towners who don't get free money and get tired of seeing these "farmers" get new pickups with more free money that's maybe not part of the AG program.
