I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Rat Bastard Killers

How many have been released from prison and death row based just on DNA evidence? A couple hundred or more at least. How many more have been put to death based on lies from the prosecution/pulice or the wrong identification. Far too many. The prosecution will never admit they are wrong/human and send innocents to death just to prove that.

From what I heard about the Davis case it was obvious the probability of an innocent man being put to death was very high. No matter we'll kill his darkie ass anyway and they did just that.

This country thrives on a culture of death behind the disguise of an invisible sky being that has never existed that gives the killers the pretense that they can do no wrong.

  1. What do we expect from a country who cheers over the idea of just letting an uninsured person die? Or a court who, in allowing Troy Davis to live, would have had to admit it's a deeply flawed system?

It has been suggested that I'm from another planet. I'm starting to wish I was.

  2. Good morning Teresa. I had to rush out and didn't quite get that finished. I need a smart ass insulting finish.

Many times I expect too much in that could common sense prevail for a change. You are so right.

Elaborate sometime on the planet thing please.

That same mentality is why I have distanced myself from some who are supposed to be on the same side as us. In that I and others like me are why the dims don't do well and that I am the reason bama is in the dumps cuz he's done so many good things that I am supposed to overlook the atrocities he has engaged in himself and perpetuates.

  3. The system is flawed, from top to bottom. I see stupid stuff going on at every level...to even the type of plants/flowers that are being planted in the inner city. Brains are not being used...it's $$$'s. Thought about writing letters to the editor (used to do that long ago) but I'm afraid I'd need my own daily paper, a column would not be enough. This was awful, I don't get it...???

  4. We literally have no control at all over this insane crap happening since 2000 TMoon. And it's getting worse from what I see with the repug candidates as a prime example. When a country denies math and science as being credible it shows this country is in severe decline and it is just that simple.

"Oh you libruls are so angry". damn straight I am.

  5. TX Gov. Rick "I'm a Prophet" Perry has overseen 235 executions in the past 11 years.

    More than any other governor.

While the majority of Texans enthusiastically support capital punishment, the sheer volume of death penalty cases have earned the attention of the Innocence Project because few of people waiting to die at the Huntsville state prison were afforded DNA science to either confirm or reject the recommendations of the jury.

If you're going to put someone to death for a crime, why not spend the $90 on a DNA test? Because if you get it wrong, there's no way to pull the needle out of the arm.

  6. Thanks for that Christopher! But of course we wouldn't want to do the right thing when it comes to killing cuz it seems to me the ones in power love it toooo much.

  7. The majority of those waiting to die aren't Nice People (i.e., white, Christian middle class people), thus the majority of Americans just don't give a shit whether they're guilty of murder or not. They're guilty of not being white middle class Americans, so there.

It's the same mentality used to justify not providing services to the homeless -- the needless deaths of the homeless to "natural causes" (actually, starvation and exposure) don't bother the majority of Americans one bit -- and the needless deaths of millions of Iraqis in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" (well, I guess if you're dead you're free, but it's certainly not a freedom I would welcome for *myself*, that's for sure). They're not white middle class Americans, so who cares?

"This country thrives on a culture of death" indeed...

  8. And the way I see it too BTux is that these things are getting worse and that disturbs me greatly and the sheep bleat for moooore.

  9. Yep, it's a culture of viciousness that seems to get more vicious with each passing year, to the point where Americans refuse to solve problems if it would interfere with their ability to be vicious towards their fellow Americans.

And some people wonder why I prefer to be a penguin...

  10. As a society, we are barbarians. That's the only explanation I can think of, the only one I can offer when my Norwegian cousins write me and say (but ever much more politely), "WTF is wrong with you people???????"

  11. And they're not the only ones that say that. Seriously to have presidential candidates who do not believe in science or mathematics is more than just amazing. Thanks for the visit Karen. I'm sure the killers of Troy Davis would take issue with being labeled barbarians. I'm with you.
