Shit like this pisses me off as it should everyone who has even a bit of cognizance. This is serious shit people.
Briefly and the article is a must read - LINK
You are invited again to testify again before a Republican House Committee investigating effects of mountaintop mining. You submit a photo to use because the time before you felt members made little eye contact. You are informed the photo is "inappropriate" and can not be used.
After testifying you are questioned for 45 minutes about the picture taken by an award winning photographer with the parents present in a everyday situation caused by the very issue being heard that day. Not supposed to do this but I did. Here it is.
Charge me please but do you even have a clue the real fucking criminals sat behind the bench that day in DC.
The head of the committee Rep. Doug Lamborn is a piece of shit from up the road in Colorado Springs had this to say-
"I accept the judgment of professional
staff," Lamborn said. "If it's inappropriate I don't think I should be
viewing it. The fewer people who viewed it the better." and Lamborn said Tuesday he still hadn't seen the photo and had no intention of looking at it.
I'm not sure how to express my outrage and if I have any hopes it would be that people if they become aware of what happened that day that they would be outraged as well and change if they are on the dark side to the side of the truth.
Truth that is not coerced by hypocritical religious values and unlimited corporate money.
We are so screwed. That if anyone thinks for a second this country can be governed given recent history or think that this election will repair it in any way you are living a delusion.
What a shitty message but the fact of the matter is this is what people want and this is what we're gonna get a lot more of and real soon too . Watch it happen and just LTFO!!
Keep up the good work, man.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of the Little Green Thing!
ReplyDeleteWhat eyes he has.
DeleteThe idea of congressmen - with all the illicit activities they participate in - acting like a self-righteous church committee is very amusing. And, of course, dodging the issues is their special talent. They probably have a secret awards ceremony for that.
ReplyDeleteI'd bet on that.
DeleteNothing that asshat Lamborn does would shock me- but it still pisses me off. Thanks for shining a light on the evil that lurks right here in our own state.
ReplyDeleteWho the hell does he think he's trying to shit? It works for the ones he already shat out real good.
DeleteThe piece of shit can't lower himself to look at the picture.
Shouldn't Lamborn be investigated for his being aroused by that picture? It could well be the pollution that excites him, but the people should know.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the article at that link, Lamborn claims to have not looked at the photos.
DeleteThat it's above him to look at a picture directly related to what is being investigated. These bastards say and do whatever they want because they understand there will be little or like most of the time no penalty.
DeleteLamborn is using a common gambit for politicians - making the issue something other than the thing that he'd be embarrassed to discuss. He'd be happy to talk about so-called "child pornography" all day, rather than have to answer why no one's doing anything about the water that child was bathing in.
ReplyDeletePerhaps unsurprisingly, Lamborn has received nearly $50k in campaign funding from the oil, gas, and mining industries.
This guy is a real pig. Like most of these elected men and women no one will call him out and he'll do similar shit again and again. Where we are at as a country and it sucks.
ReplyDeleteDitto Jan...in fact, ditto everyone...
