I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

The Point Is This

In the last 18 months half has been spent in Mexico. During that time there has been some ups and downs but in the end all turned out pretty decent. Things do work here.

There have been quite a few friendships made both here in El Nogalito and Puerto Vallarta some of which have become pretty tight.

Reiterating what's been said before here continue to be impressed with this area and the people who live here. I have learned much. Friendly, courteous, helpful, caring and more. I am greeted by name often even in town. People smile here and a lot. I like that and there tends to be humor around as well - good humor!

To watch family's interact and especially with children and elderly is different than where I came from and just plain nice to see. Isn't it supposed to be like that? I very much like it here.

Now for the point and this is not nice nor should it be! In recent times all the good has been marred and specifics won't be explained. In that with all that I like so much the bad has to come from a piece of shit fucking gringo from the US and that's the point! It's a fact!

So I will be heading out earlier which I'm fine with as there are things that need done and time to get them out of the way. It will be a much larger adjustment than what it was when I returned here after seven months away.

I will be back but the horse's ass mentioned above won't be allowed back. You prick!
UPDATE APRIL
It is I who won't be going back. What the fuck do I know??? Don't think Fly and so much for friendships you thought were real tight.

A few pictures because.

  3. It's nice to learn that you've come to like and appreciate life in El Nogalito and Puerta Vallarta. Even the names of these two mexican places sound lovely.
Your shots are awsome, but then again, my favorite picture is that of father and son sitting at the ice-cream shop.
