Making Sure They Get Part Of Da Pot

Did a day trip and blasted up to Denver to see Doc for an adjustment and blood test results. It's all pretty damn decent considering. I am fortunate but that's not what this about. In that area there are a number of recreational and or medicinal stores to buy legal marijuana and associated products.

I wanted one of two things. Either oil or the wax and these are used in a vapor device of some sort which I have one of. The oil was not in a form that worked with my pipe but they had the wax which I bought a gram of. I want this to try for several reasons one of which is overall odor and discreteness.

Here's the bill. The initial $35 turned into $46.53 real quick. If you don't bring the special white zippered bag back you will buy another for three bucks. This is to protect the children.you see.

Several years ago I held a medical marijuana card and even then the number of people around these establishment surprised me and the little I've seen of the now legal recreational stores is even more surprising  at least to me.

Let's be straight here. I very much enjoy getting a buzz on in the morning and there ain't one damn thing wrong with that no matter what others may say. We'll check this new stuff out tomorrow morning. And fyi for anyone that's interested it looks like a generic oz is around 400 give or take without taxes.

No Shit Cisco

Others feared images of public toking would be beamed around the world. Instead, a peaceful, respectful and mellow crowd greeted the advent of recreational marijuana sales on New Year's Day. Marijuana industry representatives and public officials credited the smooth launch to months of planning and cooperation.

The millions who have smoked marijuana for years have never been a problem and most with a half oz of brains knows that - except for the badges and profiteers of the booze.

Riding up to Pueblo with a friend and will stop and buy one of those electric odorless pipes because the goons are ramping up their profile stops to write plenty tickets for DUID because they didn't get their way.  

UPDATE: At 2PM there were probably 40-50 people in line so we drove on by.

Happy New Year And Making History On A National Level Today

Life's clock for the New Year started a few hours ago.

To anyone who stops by today particularly other bloggers who I interact with I wish all the very best for this coming year. Last year was a ride and it continues today. May it be a sweet ride for all of us.

For decades I have fought against the insanity labeled the "Drug War " and for the decriminalization/legalization of marijuana. In a little bit I will drive up to Pueblo to observe and purchase in the public domain - marijuana.

This is a national history event and I want to be part of that. It may not be much in the big scheme of things but it's shit like this that make it go round for this guy.

Then woke up with this damn mylitis condition again.

He's Wrong

Happy I don't know jack shit and that we have staved off the hard core crazy's for awhile longer again. In the big scheme of things not much has changed as you know. Will this make DC  work better? You would think possibly the Right would understand we need some good legislation but looking at the % points for Obama in the red states no way do these states want the people they put in office helping this man. May I not know jack shit again.

On the good side my state Colorado and Washington legalized da pot. The feds will fight back assuredly and municipalities will do as much as they can to negate this vote but no matter what this is HUGE.

To me it seems with these wins we have reached the crest of the hill and are on our way albeit still a very long one to the end of prohibition against marijuana.

It's a better day in America and I'm proud to say I live in a state that made this choice and like the state just to the south of me - New Mexico that they (to be fair it was not me) chose light over darkness with Obama!

Or crazy bastards like this women doktor who says no to the whole legal process that was followed from state level down to city level. That it has no merit and will destroy the fabric of local society so badly that the rights of these people who started these businesses must be taken away if society at local level is going to survive.
