Lee Grace Dougherty, 29, and her two brothers, Ryan Edward Dougherty, 21, and half brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, have been on the run since Aug. 2, when they shot at a police officer who tried to pull them over in central Florida.
They are an "imminent threat" to the community. Big sister was a stripper and one of the brothers sent "explicit" messages to a young girl. The other brother smokes pot I guess.
I love this line from the badges - "they might be headed to a rural area or a campsite to avoid law enforcement detection." Ya think!!
So, what's the threat? Pot smokers. OOOooh. Scary stuff. What are they wanted for? It sounds like the Gestapo is running things. Well, let's hope they don't head for a canyon. That didn't work out so well for the last guys who tried that. They'd do better hiding in a city, it seems.

ReplyDeleteYeah, lots of scary people out there we need protecting from and warned about. Especially that ex-stripper and the jade-smoking brother. Need to spend a few hundred thou and burn up law enforcement hours by the hundreds to run them down so they can't strip and smoke n'more and scare us.
Da FBI had a presser about this. If these young people look the wrong way they'll kill so quick they won't have time to blink.

ReplyDeleteFly: I have a problem with the use of the inclusive 'we', I reckons. You're out there near the Continental Divide crossing it back and forth. One side the water runs west into the Pacific and the other side it runs east into Atlantic. It doesn't run both ways anywhere enough to allow it to represent itself with the word 'we'.
ReplyDeleteThere's no way of guessing what some composite 'we' calling itself the US loves. Everone in a position to ask is damned careful not to do so, or if they do and the answers are wrong, making the 'we' larger or smaller until it comes out right.
Hopefully there's a cop out there somewhere able to spot me, arrest me, and a judge to stick me in a cell to protect the people inside whatever piece of a 'we' is frightened by me and has the power to make it stick.
I want to be a good American.
That would be the San Juan river or one of it's tributaries.
ReplyDeleteIf we didn't incarcerate millions of people for silly reasons like pot then maybe there wouldn't be so many people out there who would rather die than go back to prison. And maybe those people who would rather die than go back to prison wouldn't shoot at the police for a routine traffic stop. Just an idea.

ReplyDeleteHot off the wires! The Dougherty Gang has been arrested in Colorado after a short chase and a crash. Some shots fired but no reports of a shootout.
