I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

Hacksaw Kimberly

It was sad enough a man killed his nine year old son then himself in a custody dispute at a place that this time of year not many visit.

That is until a couple real low-lifes show up and find them. If you're low-life what do you. It's pay dirt I guess so much so the women took a hacksaw and cut two fingers off the frozen corpse so she could steal the pistol. He steals the rest of what's in there of value.

They were caught in Washington Friday night.  LINK

    Another fine example of why I prefer real turkeys, like the ones on top of the hill in your header photo.

    This sounds like a scene from a Mad Max movie. Or "The Book of Eli." Or name your post-apocalypse favorite.

    Morning Teresa. Humans are a nasty species far too many times. These two were meth-freaks and had been in trouble before of course in Craig and other places in NW Colorado.

    Another part of the drug war front that was lost many years ago as well. This is not an easy part of that equation.

    'Macabre' is the word which comes to mind. And we have 7 shot dead in a murder-suicide on Christmas day in nearby Grapevine (the Christmas Capital of Texas), and--not yet confirmed--the perp was dressed as Santa Claus.

    Confirmed: the shooter was dressed as Santa. It's not our 'freedoms' they want; it's our 200,000,000+ guns.
