I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Way Too High

Spent Sunday here at Trappers Lake. This area was devastated by a massive fire seven years ago this month.

It still remains a wonderful place to visit, explore and camp.

The lake is full of native cutthroat trout. I did not get one to shore. Fall has arrived in the high country and it's 34 here this morning which means there will be frost in some areas.

  6. Great pictures. Fall comes early in the Rockies. I remember camping somewhere along a river with a French name translated to powder river. It was really cold at night. I could see my breath and the month was July.

  7. Thanks Cats. You're thinking of the Cache de Poudre outside of Ft. Collins. Hell-it's snowed here on the 4th of July. The Poudre is a place where mountain men would hold rendezvous's as well. Hope you are well!
