You all know by now that it appears any type of health insurance that was going to compete against the big boys is off the table at the White House.
No use going on even a little bit except to say-from the very beginning this was never fucking ever going to happen. It just was not going to be allowed.
The powerful have more or less complete control over our elected officials in DC. Our vote means squat. We are so screwed!
The picture at the top spends another day in respect for this lovely young lady and her message that is ever so very true but is for naught.
So true, the gatekeepers of Democratic Party are blocking health care. Maybe we should demand they swear allegiance to the Hippocratic Oath when they run for office: "First, do know harm...": especially to their own supporters. Wouldn't that be "change we could beieve in"? What whores!!!
ReplyDeleteHuffpost has an article about the dems being worried about 2010, the spineless bastards should be.
ReplyDeleteThe insurance companies do not want their unjust monopoly to end. Obama is downplaying the importance of the public option. If he can make it impossible for insurance companies to turn you down for a pre determined condition or from capping you I think that would be acceptable but I would still like to see all those covered that can not afford it.
ReplyDeleteToday in Oregon at a Senior Center Congressman Kurt Schroder (D) tried to talk about health care reform to a crowd composed of mostly people over 65 and birthers, etc. The old women screamed no gov't takeover: then they left to cash their dead husbands' pension and go to the doctor for their monthly Medicare check. What a bunch of dried up old bitches!!! I hope they choke on their bran&coffee tomorrow morning while waiting for the stool softener to kick in.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I think you're right. Damn!
