I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Ford Kicking Ass

To win Car & Truck of the Year is no small matter and that's what Ford did with this vehicle as the truck for the year and the Fusion Hybrid as the car.

When I saw this on my way somewhere else I had to turn around and see what the hell it was. It's called a Transit. I could get along just fine with one of these and I see they perform well and have been on the market for several years in Europe. We need vehicles like this but knock 10K off the price for me anyway.

In addition Detroit had an avenue full of electrics at the show. When the cost of these things is 30-40K we won't even go there because it's not even close to what this country needs for alternative transportation. But at least there was more of them.

Did I mention I was a Chevy man??

  1. One Fly- Don't think of it as 30K- It's just $5000 Down and 72 easy payments of around $ 360 a month. I can also get you a 100k bumper-to-bumper warranty, paint sealants and lifetime oil changes for $30 a month more. Now that's gotta work for ya, RIGHT?

  3. All of those buying these from me are replacing older and larger cargo vans that got 14 MPG highway this time of year and are paying for them with the dollars they save on gas purchases. Had one of my customers stop in last week and had high praise on the snow covered road handling that he had not considered before buying. We'll make a Ford fanboy out of you yet Onefly.

  5. Buy a new Ford Brother. The 300 shares of Ford stock I own have nothing to do with this advice.

  6. I've seen a few of those Transits 'round these parts. But I like the Toyota 4wd pickup truck behind it a lot more, those old Toyota Land Cruisers were some serious rugged. I somehow doubt the Transit would handle the Lippincott Grade or Mengel Pass very gracefully ;).

  7. Freightliner's work vans are convertible and a used one will run circles around this Ford. Diesel is green and clean; Ford is brown and tube-shaped on good days. besides, these are tiny.
