Obama warns Wall Street against reckless behavior
I saw this and damn near puked. Just how big a chump are you anyway?? No one in their right mind will believe these Wall Street whores and bankers are going to police themselves. I can't hardly take this shit. What the fuck is next an angry letter.
The arrogance of the banks and insurance companies is beyond belief. Like a burglar complaining that your house is too hard to break into. The only way to dish out some humble pie to those predators, is jail time for the CEOs and CFOs of the big companies that failed. They knew they were betting the farm, well somebody elses farm anyway. It might take years to get them behind bars, but it would send a shiver through Wall Street, they need to respect other peoples money.
ReplyDeleteBill Maher was right. Obama needs to grab hold of his inner FDR and take this bull by the fucking horns right NOW.
ReplyDeleteAll this 'bipartisan' bullshit is just Rahmbo's mealy way of keeping 2012 alive for reelection.
Fuck that.
Taking down Wall Street will do more for 2012 than any half-assed political maneuvering. Same with standing up for single-payer or better, more powerful regulations on those greedy whores in the insurance industry. It's way past time to take off the gloves.
Muhammad Ali was champ, not because he could dance, but because he knew when to stop dancing and land a few good punches.
Time to stop dancing and start punching.
Right, because the banksters police themselves soooooooooo well. Oy.
ReplyDeleteSorry folks but I am not proud of my country just now or in the last years. It seems worse out there than ever before.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear from you David.
Three weeks ago at Netroots in Philly Howard Dean called the actions of the last 30years of Wall Street a "scam". When adjusted for inflation there has been no growth in the overall stocks, just a giant "shell game", again Howard's words. This is just more of the legalized robbery started by Reagan and continued by both parties since. Obama has tied his own hands here and Progressives cannot trust Democrats to do the right thing when it comes to money matters. Campaign finance with public dollars is the only way to clean this mess up. The answer is easy but impossible in this Corporate, U.S.of A.
ReplyDeleteI believe I posted something along the lines that Obama's financial 'reforms' were onna be about as effective as his health ones?
