9/04/18I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.
From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.
Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.
You bastards!
Not to make light of this because it is a tragedy. Three people who in their hearts thought they were serving God and doing something good.
ReplyDeleteBut given that Jesus told a guy to go to his room and pray in private and not make a big showing of it, as Christian myself, just what do we need all these churches for?
For whatever reason I am just awestruck when looking over a body of water. Ocean, lake. Even a creek or pond. That moves me more than some nice paintings or statues pr a well done crucifix. I feel far closer to God standing before these things than in any church.
That is exactly right Truth and the reason I never went a bit further than what I did. It's sad but like the Mormon kid from the other day getting mauled by lions in Guatemala and out in Utah they're hoping ("praying") for a miracle.. Shouldn't have been there and what was learned from the comments was very informative.
ReplyDeleteAs for you I would never question what you wrote in the rest of your comment because I have not the slightest issue with any of it. There is a major difference with a believer like you and most of the others. That's the problem.
I am coming to Illynoise next spring and I do plan on looking you up cuz now I will have the time to do so. We'll flip. Thanks for stopping by Truth and hope you're good and not melting or floating away.
I have to say it-churches are an enormous waste of resources that could be used to feed people, or to house them. That people would be killed on a church-building mission only amplifies the sense of waste.
