I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

You bastards!

Yesterday Morning On The Swinging Bridge

Brown's Park in far north west Colorado about 8 in the morning. Sooo nice. There were massive amounts of dragonfly's. The were also many more mosquitoes. In a place so dry you wouldn't think that. Was reminded of that old Minnysota spiritual "There's a Skeeter on your Peeter" there were so many. You betcha.

    Ah, yes, a Minnysota spiritual... I've been singing a version of that myself this summer, with some differences. :)

    When I started hiking/backpacking back in the 1970s, I couldn't imagine there were mosquitoes in the mountains. Boy, was I wrong!

    The worst mosquito hordes I've encountered were on Isle Royale and in the Everglades.
