McChrystal is supposed to give a presentation to Obama and Nobel Peace Prize winner today.
I hope the worlds biggest peace person doesn't fall for the pitch. We the people need to give the president our pitch. You know the one where we spoke during the election about how we wanted the fuck out of Iraq and Afghanistan - that one.
Hi - I'm back at the blogging, again. Wonder if I can ask a favor from you. The reason that I became a follower of this blog is because you posted something about the gas drilling in CO and the pollution in the well water that resulted from this drilling. That convinced me that you are a "Green Dog". Would you send me a link to that pollution information? The legislators in PA are still fighting over the State budget and one of the big issues is drilling in the PA State forests for gas. My guess is that the residents of PA are not fully informed regarding the pollution of their well water that will result from this drilling.

The timing could not be better. Barack strikes out on a different course in Afghanistan, no more troops.
ReplyDeleteHe's gonna approach it from the, work smart, not hard tack.
I predict no more throwing soldiers against the wall and see what sticks.
Call me crazy!
He will do the right thing and if he does'nt my thoughts of him will change, alot!
Yes I will Cats.
ReplyDeleteI think this is what you may be referring to Cats. link
ReplyDeleteI have not seen much on this lately butcan say the two or three tomes I've been to Grand Junction there is so much drilling equipment idle. I think it may be down 50%.
Square State and Colorado Confidential keep track of this pretty good I think.
A Noble Peace Prize in his pocket is no substitute for a blackjack when dealing with the Military-Industrial Complex. Our Progrssive Dems need to take Obama by the hand and lead him to the real promised land: prosperity and peace thru the dismantling of the perpetual war machine. Our country cannot afford endless war and neither can the world.
