This is Bistek al la Mexicana a common dish found many places. There are several places I get this some better than others but all real decent! Kind of a tomato based sauce with generally pretty tender pieces of beef and a fair amount of it. The rice is pretty generic but the frijoles can be something else. This also includes as many fresh made in front of you tortillas you want and brought to you with a smile. Something like this costs around 50-60 pesos or $3. The squeezed as you watch orange juice is 20 and brings the price up a bit but worth it. Nothing in the States I've ever had compares to this not even close plus it'll cost 7-10 smacks. I don't know what I'm going to eat when I return. It will be an adjustment as I do this so much that is go into Puerto Vallarta on the south side and have me a excellent lunch with "real" Mexican food not the slop I get back there. I do not plan on eating out much at all only at maybe three select places. Pricey yes but worth it because it's so good. I threw away so much money last summer eating way overpriced shitty food. Several times the food got thrown away as well. The whole of Mexico is an eating machine I tell you. I'm gonna miss this.

I feel good and and think the higher temps and humidity contributes to that. It's the same every time. After a month or two you realize and say " Hey I feel pretty damn good!"

Just as important I believe the food made fresh with wholesome fresh ingredients as well contributes to that. Get off the bus in town the food smells everywhere make me hungry just like that.

Da Lieberwhore

How long has this shit been going on with this asshole of a man? Way too damn long and it was some time ago I quit paying attention to what this little prick had to say because you knew what it was going to be before he even open up his second anus.

No OF ain't signing any petition or making phone calls to those who can make the difference and put this piece of fresh runny pig shit in his place.

The dims association with this person is a perfect example of the same type of leadership we are getting since the election. Maybe they will toss this prick out eventually with the night soil but it should have done long before this.

I expect nothing from those on my side when it comes to the big issues and letting this asshole continually frame the debate without consequences for being a turncoat for years let's us know just how fucked up the people on our side are out there inside da 'ol beltway yet again. Sonsofbitches!

  1. There is only one word that accurately describes LIEberschmuck: Republican.

  2. Golly gee, Wally; that would require the Dims to have a brain and backbone. Too much to ask from our Congress isn't it.

  3. I did not know this. This is part of what Reconstitution plus had to say!

For decades, Hadassah Lieberman has worked for the insurance-pharmaceutical-lobbying complex. Like Newt Gingrich, Dick Gephard and Tom Daschle she never registered as a lobbyist to avoid the official taint, but nonetheless worked at the powerhouse lobbying shops Hill and Knowlton and APCO. She also did stints at Pfizer and Hoffman-La Roche.

When she was hired at Hill and Knowlton as a senior counselor in the health and pharmaceutical practice in 2005, the company issued a press release which said “she hopes to draw on her political experience in concentrating on health care policy and public health initiatives.” It is unquestionable that she has used her association with her husband the Senator, who was instrumental in killing the Clinton health care reform effort in 1994, in order to secure these lucrative positions and advance the interests of her clients.

How much is she being paid? It’s hard to tell — the Senate Finance report only indicates that it’s “more than $1000.” But money paid to spouses is one of the primary ways that members of Congress manage to wander into serious money while in office, and Hadassah made $328,000 in speaking fees in one year. From 2004 to 2008, the Center for Responsive Politics estimates that Lieberman’s net worth has increased by a million dollars. That’s impossible to do on a Senator’s salary alone.

According to Larry Nobel, former executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics: “Unless it can really be shown that there is a reason that an individual is being paid for her expertise, then it does look like she is getting paid as a substitute for his speaking…In perspective, I think it falls in a category of ongoing issues that arise having to do with the proper role of spouses and whether someone is trading off of a spouse’s influence.”

This is past an outrage. I’m sorry to have to make this analogy, but it fits-it’s like Goebbels working for the ADL. Surely enough pressure can be brought to bear on the Komen Foundation to at least get them to stop paying off one of their predators!

The more I see of these nasty, slimy LIEbermans, the sicker I get.

  4. The only way for Lieberman to be an honest man is to make Israel the 51st State, and him their Senator and his wife the other one.

  5. Joe da who. He'll never run again and so he's piling up the bucks for retirement. But you're so right about the Dems. I blame all this shit on Rahm Emanuel. He is death for the Dems. This thing has turned into a nightmare. I hope they are happy killing people with their bad medicine.

  6. Harry Reid should 1) remove Lieberwhore from his Committee chair, 2) cut his staff to zero, 3) change the Dem official IT password and leave Lieberwhore out of the loop, and 4) move his office to a latrine in the congressional garage.

I left off "Jelly his kneecaps with a 3-lb maul," because for some reason some folk regard that as instigating "violence."

Viz, Hadassah: Isn't there a word in Hebrew for "pro bono?"
