Don't shit yourself folks there's much more going on here than just the purchase of another large media organization.
Do you remember not that long ago about getting something accomplished with Net Neutrality. Well it didn't happen and there has not been one word on it that I've seen in several months. Where is the FCC?
Remember the e-mails Comsuck would not deliver from progressive sites a couple years ago. Do you think Rachel,Ed and Keith will be on as they are now. Of course they won't be! Will there be other progressive types hired to replace them. Hell no.
HC reform is what we voted for. Where are we with this now and do you really believe if a bill is passed it will have "we the people" best interests as an integral part of it and not the corporations?
If Comsuck is allowed to follow through with this purchase it gives them that much more leverage when the battle for Net Neutrality begins in earnest.
The battle for control of the internets is just starting to warm up and players like Comsuck and other biggies will lie cheat and steal just as they have with the battle for health care to win as then they will have won total domination of all that is ours and that is the airwaves and the Internet.
One of my linky buds had a quote from the Prez about the importance of diversity in the media and the negativeness of giant media company's. Will he produce for us or cut and run? We need this man desperately if we are to win this.
If they accomplish that 1984 will be here even sooner. They must be stopped !!

This is an intersting story because it has dissappeared almost entirely from the news cycle. I smell a rat in the kitchen. Of course our fearless leaders will buckle at the knees when 15 billion dollars is on the line. Do Biden and Specter have something cooking in Philly besides Cheese Steaks. Me thinks so.
