The jist of it is this man is motivated by a desire to get what he thinks Democrats didn't give him in his last two campaigns. Respect. HA!
That's clear as a bell where this this man is coming from and what and who he is. A vindictive little prick, and the dims are so stupid they continue to think he's credible and can be worked with. Our side is so damn stupid there aren't many I want anything to do with.
One Fly- This guy could of been President. This holier than thou little weasel was almost a heartbeat away from that chair. Now we see what a petty, pompous ass he truely is. His latest betrayal is healthcare reform but he's been a warmongering schill for years and the stress of debate has merely brought to light his true disposition regarding life and death issues. He's nothing more than a cheap suit serenader for Obama and the Corporatist wing of the Democratic Party. The real disheartening thing in all this rigamaroll is that Obama has been exposed as a schill as well. He is and was a stealth candidate with an agenda not unlike Lieberwhore who used the activist, progressive wing to catapult himself into the White House. Obama can't govern now because, like all liars, he's too worried about being exposed and humiliated. Obama's handprints are all over this bad healthcare bill. This is what he wanted all along and blaming Howard Dean will cost him dearly with me and lots of others. We can all discuss what shoulda or coulda been accomplished by Obama. But it is now a commonly accepted fact that Obama is a bust for the country. He quotes the Kennedys' and MLK Jr. but governs like Richard Nixon. Lieberwhore is just a skunk but Obama may be a true Corporatist or, worse for the whole country, in over his head. I hope healthcare reform, as it is currently written, is defeated. You may not but I think we can both agree that this has been underhanded process from the beginning. Because Obama lied Americans will die or go broke trying to get a fair shake. It's making me sick just thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteagreed-people wanted to believe so badly they were hypnotized by the speeches he gave. He could have taken a stance on the obvious solution to health care in this country but he never said a word for the most part. He stands for the corporations and not us or our country. Once again the real candidate for change was never given a chance by the whore media cuz he was too short. We are so fucked!!
ReplyDeleteOne Fly- Just saw Democracy Now's Amy Goodman interview Pres. Morales from Bolivia at Copenhagen. He basically called Obama and our State Dept., in somes cases, worse than Bush/Cheney. Great. With the Coup in Honduras now solidified by the military, blessed by Hillary and orchestrated by her friend Lanie Davis, we have had our misgivings rewarded yet again. I have long thought, and Morales confirmed this, that the oil and gas companies have their sights on recapturing and ruling Latin America. By all means necessary, of course. As Morales said, " A different colored U.S. President doesn't change bad policies." Black leadership in the Congress must be shitting their drawers to see what the first black President has turned into. He is, more and more, reminding me of Nixon and Hillary of Kissinger. Watch the fuck out!
ReplyDeleteOk. OK. Ok. I now seriously doubt the validity of "Hope And Change". Either he is wrangling Washington into a arroyo with no exit, and then read them the riot act [which I hope] or he is an exremely educated idiot. Right noe I'm thinking idiot.
ReplyDeleteI am disengaging, I don't need the brain damage!
Lahru, don't disengage. Understand that Establishment Dems have been trying to label us for 35 years with words like "dirty hippee" and socialists. I have as much formal education as some of these assholes and have worked on a commission only basis for 30 years. I know bullshit and duplicity, home and abroad, when I see it. We are seeing plenty of it now. Keep up the fight and don't let the bastards get you down.
ReplyDeleteYou two have so much in common Can you spell c a r s ?
ReplyDeleteNow that I have had some time and read more I actually now believe that if you go back in history and critically look at those that have attempted HCR and see how in the end they gave up when they did not get most of what they wanted we are at a point that many have reached in the past and the genius of Obama. He is looking forward not wanting an "all" bill, but a something bill. In the c a r b u s i n e s s it is called getting the customer over the hump, buying into the deal. You would be surprised how many people go into a dealership, buy a car at invoice and once they take mental ownership then buy fabric sealant, paint sealant, extended warranties, mud flaps, Gap insurance all the while providing the dealership with on average an $800.00 of profit.
ReplyDeleteBuy the car, then protect it.
With passage of this bill, the American people "own" HCR and just like any of you out there who have spent thousands on the new car will be willing to protect it.
The "Aces Have Been Played"
Although even me, had my moments of doubt and distrust. In today's everything now world, the "O"'s understanding of the national psyche proves, any port in a storm, is still true.
But I don't want or care to have a goddamn Yugo!
