I drove past this between Salida and Cotopaxi on State Highway 50 in Colorado. I had to turn around and tell whoever that I stood with them totally assuming I was correct. I was and got the biggest hug of appreciation for doing so.

From my understanding, there are close to 3000 children being held around this country after being seized from their parents at the border.

Many will never see their Mom and Dad again because Republicans are totally evil.

And if you thought there was any significant legislation that was to come from this congress you are mistaken. Wait until 010 when the ones elected to give us decent health care and to wind down all our wars are purged never to be seen again. That is when Amerika will emerge as the leader of dumb fuck nutters. It's all going according to plan.

    Great take on Bob's poetry. At the end of the day what remains of the morning's bright hopes? In so many words from Obama, people of all parties and ages, saw a chance of starting a Great Mending in our country. Now we see the continuance of The Great Unraveling. We will be torn apart by the one thing ALL Americans love, money. There simply won't be enough to continue the charade. A friend of mine was lucky enough to earn a small role in the movie Soylent Green (his claim to fame was throwing Mr. Heston thru a window). We all chuckled about the movie's premise but he'd met the screen writer and took it all very seriously. I'm beginning to see the same fiery look of doom and desperation he had in my own countrymen's eyes. The look is the long, squinty, gaze of a monstrosity not quite yet in clear focus; closing fast and bringing a shit storm with it. Has anyone else seen the look in the last 30 days? You'd know it: it comes after trying to explain the troop escalation in the 'Stans, the collapse of Health Care reform, the bank bailout and Obama's "just war" speech as he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize to young associates who you convinced to vote for "change we can believe in" in 2008. You see the shit storm coming look and just shrug; it's just politics is all you can say.

    I agree Sue -my point has always been that the media give these stupids a mouthpiece where none is deserved and there ya go-instant credibility. That's a stacked deck that is ever so difficult to fight against.
